A LOCAL YET INTERNATIONAL TEAM
Our team members are all living for many years on the island of Lanzarote. Coming from all over Europe they decided to build up a new life on this peculiar island enjoying it’s landscapes, sports opportunities, great climate and charming people.
SUSTAINABLE TOURISM
Already in the 1970’s César Manrique, famous artist from Lanzarote, started to develop a concept of sustainable tourism for his island – an effort that culminated in the declaration of a Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1993. We are proud to continue defending this idea and showing our clients the beauty of the fragile landscapes.

Thank you very much! For Damiano and me it was an unforgettable day!”
Marco – 12/03/2016 (with Terre d’Aventure @ Lanzarote)
“Superb trip, Team organization on place impecable. Mix and tolerance of the group very interesting and important. The only drawback was the flight time at departure, otherwise, an exceptional week for lovers of photos, beautiful lights and beautiful scenery of hiking. I am very happy and surprised by this trip, which I did not expect too much in relation to this destination.”
Off the west coast of Africa, the Canary Islands consist of seven main islands. Tenerife, the largest, is home to the highest volcano in Europe: el Teide. Fuerteventura has some lovely beaches and barren landscapes. Gran Canaria boasts beautiful pine forests and some interesting museums. Lanzarote is noted for its volcanic landscape and the work of artist César Manrique. La Palma is the greenest island and has a beautiful capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma. La Gomera features the World Heritage Laurisilva forest of Garajonay and El Hierro, the smallest island, is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Some of the islands in this archipelago are razor-sharp and, their peaks hidden by clouds; a couple of them are mere slivers of sand, like slices cut from nearby mainland Africa and rolled flat by blistering sunshine.
Lanzarote is certainly the most surprising island of the Canaries. Volcanoes and the sea have brought out landscapes where colours and shapes from the recent but extinct volcanic eruptions are still kept. The black and red of the lava contrast with the white of the houses and the deep blue of the sky and sea.
The mild climate allows enjoying outdoor activities the whole year round. It really invites you to discover craters and lava fields, the coast, creeks and beaches, crops on volcanic ash, beautiful villages and the work of local artist Cesar Manrique.
Olita Trek & Bike offers Lanzarote guided walks and excursions to other islands in the Canaries, to get to know each island of the archipelago. You will experience the beauty of a big variety of landscapes and their charming inhabitants.
